    Description

    EXTREMELY
    RARE 1930 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME PROGRAM for a game between the AMARILLO GOLDEN SANDIES (SANDSTORM) and the VERNON LIONS.  This game was played on November 8, 1930 at Butler Field in Amarillo, Texas.  Amarillo was coached by Texas Sports Hall-of-Famer BLAIR CHERRY (later coached the TEXAS LONGHORNS) and led by Hall-of-Famer BURL BUFKIN.  This is a large 34 page program with team photos of Amarillo team, band, pep squad, and cheerleaders, plus individual photos of players and coaches.  Very nice program in excellent condition.  Add .50 for postage/shipping.
