decreed by the liberation army, headed by Simon Bolivar.
2. A bill of exchange issued April 14th 1826 by the Department for Foreign Affairs of the Republica Peruana, for 1500 pesos (exchange rate of 48 pence to the peso), payable in silver or gold, for payment of loans arranged by the Republic with business in London. The new republic was well established by this time, as the last royalist Spanish troops had surrendered earlier in 1826.
CONDITION: Used - excellent for age, the bill of exchange with corner paper missing. Please look at the images!
