In addition, the magnet on the base of the pole is rubber coated and bonded with Santoprene in order not to scratch vehicles. The total height of the poles is 14.57 inches, from the base to the ball on top. The pole is .24 inches in diameter and the base is 3.46 inches in diameter. The decorative ball on top, which helps hold the flag in place, is .98 inches in diameter.
